Cashier Accountant

Job Summary

The Cashier Accountant will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing daily cash reports, and supporting the organization’s accounting and financial operations. The successful candidates will help ensure proper documentation, financial accuracy, and compliance with established accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Receive, verify, and accurately record cash receipts and payments.
• ✔ Process daily financial transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• ✔ Maintain accurate cashbooks, payment vouchers, receipts, and financial records.
• ✔ Prepare daily cash collection, payment, and balance reports.
• ✔ Perform cash reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• ✔ Support bank deposits and other cash-related banking activities.
• ✔ Verify payment requests and supporting financial documents.
• ✔ Assist the Finance Department in organizing and maintaining accounting records.
• ✔ Ensure proper handling, security, and accountability of company funds.
• ✔ Support financial reporting, documentation, and audit preparation.
• ✔ Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
• ✔ Maintain confidentiality and comply with internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
