Senior Accountant

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting operations, preparing accurate financial reports, performing account reconciliations, ensuring tax and regulatory compliance, supporting budgeting activities, and conducting financial analysis to facilitate informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• ✔ Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• ✔ Prepare and review financial statements, accounting reports, and supporting documentation.
• ✔ Perform bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and account verification.
• ✔ Ensure compliance with applicable Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
• ✔ Prepare and support tax declarations, statutory reporting, and related financial documentation.
• ✔ Participate in budget preparation, financial planning, and expenditure monitoring.
• ✔ Analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to support management decisions.
• ✔ Maintain accurate, complete, and properly organized accounting records.
• ✔ Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant financial documents and reports.
• ✔ Identify opportunities to improve financial controls, accounting procedures, and operational efficiency.
